It all started with the talkie: electrical engineer Eugen Beyer started his own company in Berlin in 1924 to build cinema speakers. His “Elektrotechnische Fabrik Eugen Beyer” laid the foundations for a world leading manufacturer of headphones, microphones and conference systems – and for today’s Beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG. Until this very day, around 90 years ago – Eugen Beyer’s heirs feel bound by the company’s tradition and by its visionary, pioneering founder’s values.

The vast majority of products, Beyerdynamic engineers and designers create in Heilbronn are then built by approximately 220 highly qualified employees in Germany – mostly by hand. Each of their products contains true passion and know-how for an excellent sound experience. Across the entire portfolio, Beyerdynamic products are characterized by the company’s desire to innovate and continuously develop technology. And all that with the quality promise “Engineered in Germany”.
